Our mission for Canto Cooking Club is the same - to preserve and share timeless Cantonese cooking fundamentals, while celebrating my dad's legacy and Chinese culture in the process.

The Canto Cooking Club offers organized, easy-to-follow classes on the fundamentals of Cantonese cooking, so that you can build the skills & intuition to cook with more soul, creativity, and freedom.

Our YouTube channel + blog are focused on recipes. We love sharing our recipes with the world (with over 100 million views!) and will do that for as long as we can.

But recipes can't possibly cover everything you need to know. They don't teach you how to troubleshoot, how to save time, what else you can cook with leftover ingredients, etc.

Canto Cooking Club is about diving into the fundamentals of Cantonese cooking.

To name just a few highlights of the Canto Cooking Club - we talk about the 10 essential knife cuts, how my dad stocks his fridge, how to develop savory sauces. These are all lessons exclusively found in the Canto Cooking Club.

Canto Cooking Club was founded for beginners who have little to no experience with cooking. Each course includes extensive information on techniques and builds on the previous class.

Much like a brick and mortar school, we have a curriculum you follow to make the best of all the content offered.

Each month a new course is added so there is always something to learn.

When you become a member, you gain access to all the content much like Netflix and continue having access so you may work at your own pace as long as you are a paid member.

The Canto Cooking Club subscription is continuing education.

Like Netflix when you sign up you gain access to all the courses and you can maintain your membership for as long as you like and work at your own pace.

New classes are added monthly, but you may cancel at any time.

None of the courses that we provide are live. Our lessons are pre-recorded, and you can watch whenever you prefer.

That's a big advantage of this Canto Cooking Club, as you can organize your learning according to your own schedule.

You won't have to attend any class or "be on time." You will be free to schedule your learning by yourself. Some of our students watch our videos when they commute to work, others during lunch break, and others in the late evening, for example. It's completely up to you, so you can learn at your own pace, with no pressure and following your own schedule :)

The Canto Cooking Club has an an open enrollment. You can sign up and cancel at any time.

YES! The system will automatically convert your local currency in USD (American Dollars) at the exchange rate of the day you made the purchase :)

During the first course we will cover all the basics supplies you will need including wok recommendations and necessary tools for your kitchen.

There is a list of recommended equipment in the resource tab on the site.

No, if multiple people share your membership, the system will automatically lock one account out.

We know you'll love the Canto Cooking Club so much that for whatever reason, you can request a refund up 30 days after purchase.

After 30 days, Canto Cooking Club memberships are non-refundable.

Disputed payments are handled in accordance with our Chargeback Policy.

Credit card chargebacks and Stripe disputes can be costly and hurt our standing with our payment processors. For this reason, we reserve the right to terminate and/or disable Canto Cooking Club Memberships accounts that have filed chargebacks or disputes.

We are always willing to discuss any issues you may have and ask that you contact us at club@madewithlau.com if you have a dispute you would like us to review.

These disputes are meant as a last resort measure. All customer service and billing questions should be directed to us first. We answer email daily and will always help with any questions or concerns you may have.
